About The Modern Day Rapunzel

Hi, my name is Katelyn. I am the artist behind The Modern Day Rapunzel.

Art has always been a part of my life, but I never thought I would be where I am today. I must give honor where it is due. My husband and daughter are my biggest encouragers. I never would have stepped out on this journey if it was not for being a young mom with a desire to create.

If you have followed our journey the past few years, you would know we started as Regenerative Farmers on just three acres. Today we are turning that 3-acre dream into a 40-acre blessing. Beyond the paintings, we do herbal and foraging classes and educate other Arkansans on the benefits of Regenerative Farming. We are less than one year on the new property, so our days look a lot like scouting and sun mapping, but we cannot wait to offer more classes and information soon!

In between the paint drying and foraging with a toddler, I try and keep up with local causes that help Arkansas. I truly believe that if we are exposed to the needs of others, we adopt each other's burdens and accomplish greatness together. It is hard to condense a person down to who they are and what they do. Truely, I am shocked if anyone has read beyond this point. I will save you the drawn-out version... I am a mom, a wife, a regenerative farmer, a simple Arkansan, an Artist, and an avid face to face conversation lover. I hope you have a day full of joy.
